Eukalipta (www.eukalipta.si) is a professional consultancy, research and project management organisation, which provides expertise in research, development and impact assessment of legal background of ICT. Eukalipta provides platform for ICT and law related international projects with focus on local markets and their performance in transnational environment. Eukalipta performs research, consultancy and project management for governmental institutions (Slovenian Ministry for Traffic), educational organizations (University of Primorska, Faculty of Management and Academy for Multimedia, Ljubljana), enterprises (Sonce.net, digital marketing) and non- profit organizations (Codeep artistic association).

EUKalipta owner, Katarina Krapez graduated law school in Ljubljana, Slovenia and holds an MA in Digital Media from the University of London. She was head of the legal office in the Slovenian Technology Agency where her work involved the preparation of the legal background in the field of technology in a newly established governmental agency. Key success was presentation of a new governmental technological programme in the field of defence and technology, which for the first time presented possibility for the enterprises to get subventions for the development of their own projects in the field of defence.

Katarina managed and coordinated the Slovenian Spletno Oko hotline from September 2006 until October 2007, which was part of European Commission Safer Internet Programme. Katarina participated in two EC research project dealing with the development of the eHealth in Slovenia, coordinated by Institute of Perspective Studies from Seville and regulatory impact assessment in Slovenia, coordinated by the European Network for Better Regulation.

She is guest-lecturer in University of Primorska, Faculty of Management and Academy of Multimedia, Ljubljana, where she teaches ICT and Multimedia law and Intelectual Property Law. Katarina is also involved in the research project and EC educational network Legal Framework for Information Society.
